Delaney, M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D., Co-President and Co-CEO of Delaney and Hardy Consulting, LLC, brings over two decades of expertise in program management, research administration, protocol development, and regulatory affairs. With a strong background in leading clinical and community-based research projects, Dr. Delaney has successfully managed portfolios with multimillion-dollar federal funding, consistently achieving high retention rates and impactful results. Her leadership skills are exemplified by her ability to inspire and guide teams, fostering high morale and productivity.
Dr. Delaney's dedication to advancing health literacy and inclusivity is evident through her extensive work in training and education. She has organized and conducted numerous sessions on Good Clinical Practices and human subject research protections. As a first-year law student pursuing a J.D., Dr. Delaney is expanding her expertise in legal and regulatory frameworks, further enhancing her ability to navigate complex contracts and compliance requirements. With a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling and additional postgraduate coursework in Health Psychology, Alice combines her academic knowledge with practical experience to drive successful research initiatives and strategic collaborations. Melanie L. Hardy
Co-President and Co-CEO
Melanie L. Hardy, M.S., Co-President and Co-CEO of Delaney and Hardy Consulting, LLC, brings extensive expertise in government contracts and acquisition management to the firm. With ten years of specialized experience in federal biomedical research, development, communications, and IT-related acquisitions, Melanie has a proven track record of excellence in managing pre-award and post-award processes, contract administration, and price/cost analysis. Her experience with the U.S. Navy and the National Institutes of Health has sharpened her ability to handle complex acquisition requirements and manage multimillion-dollar contracts.
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Policy from UMBC, Melanie's academic journey reflects her unwavering dedication to learning and excellence. As an adjunct sociology professor, she blends her academic insights with practical experience, fostering a deep understanding of societal structures and policy impacts. Her commitment to education and her leadership roles demonstrate her ability to inspire and guide others. This combination of advanced academic pursuits, real-world experience, and a passion for fast-paced government environments makes Melanie a dynamic and effective leader at Delaney and Hardy Consulting, LLC.
